Yesterday was New Years Eve. I forgot to write and I don't feel like writing two seperate blogs... hihi
My favorite jaw/teeth related thing that happened yesterday was: Everybody was having snacks and candy, while I couldn't. But then someone brought out a candy that I really like: filled licorice. Ohhhhh I wanted it so bad, so what did I do! I opened my mouth a bit with the bands still on (just the same as when I yawn basically) and squeeeeeezed a piece of licorice in my mouth and was able to suck on it for a while. Then I remembered that I didn't take out the bands yet that day, perfect opportunity to eat some more licorice, so I did. My brother and family spent the night at our house, so we hung out and watched movies until 4 o'clock.
The first day of the new year! My other brother came over and we all had lunch together. Then we attacked the puzzle that has been over us all Christmas. My dad says I can't leave Iceland until it's finished so to "help me" we should finish it. There was a little puzzle accident by a little person the night before, but the damage was quickly fixed! Then we went outside, made a coolio snowman and took a short walk. I made sure not to get my face too cold.
My mom is really taking good care of me. I sometimes feel bad she's doing so much. But to be honest, I would forget to eat if she wasn't helping me. She mixed icecream with kiwii for me but then my tounge and gums felt weird (I sometimes get that when I eat too much kiwii or strawberries) so then she mixed me another ice cream. Tonight after eating ice cream I thought it would be nice to try to brush my teeth fully. So I took out the bands and did what I could. First when I take off the bands it kinda hurts to open my mouth, but after a few minutes it's not as bad anymore. It's probably just a bit stiff in the beginning, because I'm not moving it like I normally would.
I wrote down some goals for 2017. Life, golf, physically, and so on. It's going to be a great year!
I wish you all the best in the year 2017!!!
