The airplane ride went well. Sometimes felt pressure on my head but nothing to complain about. But something else not ideal: I woke up with a sore throat and not feeling so great. First time I get "sick" since the surgery. It wasn't bad enough that I didn't go practice, I pushed through! Went for 2 hours to chip, putt and pitch, but that was the limit. It was really nice to be outside practicing after all the indoor practice in Iceland.
OMG then I had my faaaavorite!!! I ate Chipotle for dinner. Just rice, chicken, sour cream, cheese and guacamole - all the soft stuff that doesn't stick too much in the teeth. It was sooooo good! I needed a special technique, "stabbing" the chicken with a knife before to make it softer and not having to chew it. This takes quite some time I tell you. But hey! It means you can basically eat whatever you want ;)
Tomorrow I get to chew for the first time though! It's then been 4 weeks. Time flies. I get to take out one of the bands then, and only have two bands except when I'm sleeping I'll add the third band. This means I'll be able to speak a little bit more normal! Woohoo! People probably think I'm so weird when I talk with closed teeth.
Until next time! Ciao
